What happens if our facility is not ready for onsite service?
Delays can reduce the time available for service, troubleshooting, setup, or training.
If the site is not ready when the technician arrives, it can delay the service visit and reduce the amount of time available for the work that was scheduled.
For startup or training visits, delays can limit the time available for operator training. For service or troubleshooting visits, delays can limit the technician ability to diagnose the issue, test the equipment, and review next steps.
In some situations, the technician may need to return for an additional visit. If that happens, additional service fees may apply.
To avoid delays, customers should make sure power, air, space, samples, labels, containers, and required team members are ready before the scheduled visit begins.
