Spacing or Indexer Speed Adjustment

How to Adjust the Speed of Your Indexer or Spacer

PLDR_DiagonalLine

For Previous Models (pre-2024)

First, try adjusting the potentiometer on the side of the control box. If the products are too close together, try lowering the value. If the products are too far apart, raise the value. (Figure 1)

For New Models (2024+)

On newer models, there is no longer a potentiometer on the side of the control box. Instead, this value is adjusted digitally via the HMI. Navigate to the SETTING MODE screen and adjust the SPACING WHEEL value. (Figure 2)

Inside the control box, there is a speed controller that has the same function as the knob on the outside of the control box. When the speed controller is set to zero, it allows the spacing wheel to be controlled outside the box. Alternatively, you can control the spacing wheel speed via this controller to prevent unwanted adjustments to the spacing wheel. In the event your spacing wheel is no longer functioning properly, this speed controller is likely the culprit. Contact our parts department for a replacement.
